Obverse side on the right side you can how wide the planchet is and how high the metal flow is it is all the way to the top because the metal is being pushed higher because the wide planchet is taking up space making less room for the metal. Jefferson didn't form all the way in some spots with the die you can see areas where the metal didn't form mostly in his hair and the side of his face it is sunken in not flat. The letters are to far away from the edge they should be closer to the planchet. There is no plating on the coin it is flat raw metal also the coin is thinner than a regular coin look at pictures. Reverse side here you can tell better just how wide the planchet is and look how far away the letters are away from the edge if you look to the left of the building you can see where the planchet gets sliced and makes a trail on the metal and goes up to top where the letter E is there is a piece of cud stuck on the building from the planchet strike metal flow is up to the edge to the right of the building and around the edge you can tell the metal was soft because it is flowed over on the coin just like you would spread icing on a cake.
