Offered here for the collector is a 1996-P Lincoln Cent error coin.
This coin is in excellent condition, but the planchet it was struck from was not. The mint has been struggling with copper plating planchets since 1983. Plating errors are fairly common, but often unique. This one has a Linear Plating Bubble going across Lincoln. It reminds me of the famous Die Crack known as the Speared Bison, or Buffalo. If you'd like to have it, I'll send it out within one business day.
