Obverse side looking around the edge of the coin you will notice that the planchet is wider on some parts and thinner in others.Around the word LIBERTY the edge is thinner and the metal is almost to the top where over by the date it is thicker and the metal is much lower.Reverse side you can just look at the coin and you can tell it is off center same thing where the words ONE DIME are you can see thin edge the metal is high on the edge.Up by the words UNITED STATES the edge is thicker and the metal flow is much lower.If you collect mint mistakes this is a good one for you.
