This set contains the rare 50th Anniversary Franklin Delano Roosevelt Dime. This special demined was produced at the United States Mint in West Point to commemorate 50th anniversary of the Roosevelt dime and in recognition of President Roosevelt's long service to the Nation and the March of Dimes.
This set contains 10 coins from the Philadelphia and Denver mints- one of each denomination produced for circulation at those facilities. The coins are sealed in two mylar flatpacks. The Denver mint coins are in the flatpack with the red stripe. The Philadelphia mint coins are in the flatpack with the blue stripe. Each flatpack includes a Kennedy half dollar, a Washington quarter, a Roosevelt Dime, a Jefferson nickel, and a Lincoln cent.
The pictured coins and packaging are exactly what you will receive.
I purchased this set directly from the US Mint in 1996.
The outside envelope has adhesive damage in the upper left corner of the outer envelope.
