Offered here for the collector is a 1997-P Jefferson Nickel with a Die Gouge Error.
Every year several dies are used to strike the coins. The one that struck this coin had a recessed gouge in it that produced raised Die Gouges on the coins it stuck. Compromised dies are replaced when discovered, so not many of these coins exist.
My prices are always based on condition and/or availability.
