"Founding Father" Paine was a significant influence to the people of the 13 colonies who read his very famous "Common Sense" booklet detailing the many reasons that the colonies should break away from British rule. Paine was the author of other books and literature circe 1750s to early 1800s. Joseph B. Galambos bronze medal is dated 1982 and commemorates the 100 year anniversary of the birth of this well known American whose son, Joseph B. FGalambos, who was well known for his acumen and talent in the business world.
