For sale is a 2000 Lincoln Memorial Philadelphia (no mint mark) Cheerios Penny in the original packaging. The original packaging includes a Certificate of Authenticity -- on the reverse as shown in the second picture.
Cheerios pennies were included in Cheerios cereal boxes as part of a promotion. A small percentage of these pennies evidently have the "wide AM" variety on the reverse. The question re: the possibility of a "wide AM" variety is, "Do you feel lucky?" (Could not resist since ALL "Dirty Harry" movies, starring the immortal Clint Eastwood, are among my favorites. Can watch each over and over and over.)
Determining if the penny has a "wide AM" and/or getting it graded, of course, will require opening the packaging.
