The dies used to make this coin, previously clashed with nothing between them. In so doing, they imparted design elements to each other. Therefore, much of the base of the Monticello steps can be seen on the obverse, starting at Jefferson's right eye and running eastward and into the field. On the reverse, a good portion of Jefferson's profile is seen over and into the window to the right of the door. His eye can be seen under the steps. This is a pretty strong clash on both sides of the coin. If you'd like it for your collection, I'll send it out quickly.
