2016 (P) $1 American Silver Eagle 1oz Dollar. ANACS MS69
Verified and struck at the Philadelphia Mint.
There is no (P) mint mark on the coin, however, the top (3) grading companies can confirm where they were minted ONLY when a sealed silver eagle box is submitted. *Don't be fooled when purchasing the (p) minted eagles. The ONLY way to know for sure is if they are graded.
Most Silver Eagle coins are minted at the West Point Mint, but to keep up with demand, occasionally they had to use the San Francisco Mint and RARELY they resorted to minting a very low quantity at the Philadelphia Mint.
Across the (3) minting facilities, 37,701,500 Silver Eagles were made in 2016.
*Only 1,151,500 were made in Philadelphia making it the fourth lowest mintage for bullion Silver Eagle Coins.
