For sale is a 2019 S proof Jefferson nickel. The price reflects the fact that I obtained this nickel in change. A lucky find for me. (And in this case, have to wonder how a proof coin made it into circulation.)
Thus, this nickel cannot be classified as a typical proof coin -- pristine. However, to my critical eyes, it is still a VERY NICE coin.
While this nickel is not for serious collectors, it would be a nice "starter" proof coin for someone new to the coin collecting hobby.
