I haven’t really let it be known, but “mMm” actually stands for “‘Merican Made & Minted”.
The minted part is obviously coins, which I have had a love for since I was a kid, and have enjoyed selling to great customers, like yourself.
My other passion is woodworking, and I have been wanting to bring them together to offer something unique, just for coin collectors.
One of my regrets as a collector is that most of my coins are just locked away in a safe, and I can’t readily appreciate them.
I’ve spent the past several months developing coin display holders to help collectors showcase their favorite coins which would look great on their office desk, but can be self contained and be stored away easily, when needed.
I wanted them to be beautiful, made of premium hardwood, and compact- only 1/2 inch thick, to be exact.
This is what I came up with…
They are made of solid oak and stained a traditional cherry finish. The single holders feature a US treasury mint token embedded into the holder.
They fit Lighthouse Quadrum 2x2 snap holders perfectly (and several others, as well as some round snaps, even). They will come default with a large dollar (Morgan, Peace, Eisenhower) snap included, and are the same dimensions as a proof set. So, they can be stored in a proof set box, along with your proof sets. The oak dowel kickstand stores inside the holder when you need to store it away.
Other sized snaps will be offered if you need a half dollar, or American Eagle sized snap, etc.
I also did a double coin holder for those who would want a P/D or Unc/Proof option, or are collecting the new Morgan/Peace dollars coming out from the mint.
Note: These are hand made by myself (Ken), from natural solid oak- not stamped in MDF and laminated like most available display cases. Every one will be slightly different (Wood grain, color, etc.), and may have slight imperfections. That is the case of all art/craftsmanship... Like the very coins that we would put in them.
BCW and Guardhouse 2x2 snaps are slightly larger and will not fit, but any measuring 50mm or less will.

The cheaper first class option is mailed in an envelope/flat. No tracking is available with this option.
The higher option is first class package service, which will be sent in a bubble mailer, with tracking provided.

All single coins, regardless of how they are pictured, will be mailed in a coin flip to reduce weight and thickness with the exception of those in mint cellos, graded slabs, or unique mint packaging.
Our shipping costs are reasonable and realistic. We do not up-charge shipping for profit. We do take care in shipping our coins, and simply try to recover the expense.
