(3) 1960P US TREASURY ISSUED (2marked GEM) PROOF SET - 5 coins in original packaging w/ treasury envelop and green Superintendent inspection polyethelene note which only appeared in certain years. Odd verbiage in each one. One has different letter than the other two. One purchased at auction in 70s with card still attached to outside envelop.
*some of the 20 plastic packs appear to be have a small microcrack in the plastic where it has allowed air into the small chamber where the applicable coin is being housed, so a tarnish spot has appeared, and some are only visible with eye loop, but will be noted where I have discovered them. All packages have been left as they were stored so that they can be assessed and graded if applicable. All sets have contents that came with them from Treasury unless it is noted. Each coin has its own sealed portion and that seems to be the only part affected. Otherwise excellent condition. Stored for 4 decades with other sets from 1956-1964. All accompanying purchase receipts are included with each if purchased from coin show auction in 70s, if not direct from treasury. Most were birthday sets for my older siblings.
Cataloged sets are (3) 1956P, (1) 1958P w/o envelop, (1) 1959P Gem proof, (3) 1960P , (5) 1961P, (2) 1962P, (3) 1963P, (2) 1964P
