Here are 43 Mercury Dimes dated from 1916 to 1924 that, as would be expected, are not in the best of condition. While there are 2 EF coins, the vast majority (35) are either G or VG. All mints are represented for each year except for 1916 D, 1916 S, 1917 S, 1918 D, 1920 D, 1921 D, 1924 D, and 1924 S. As the photos indicate, all coins come sorted and graded (although you are welcome to re-grade them). USACoinbook indicates that if you were to buy these from a dealer, you would pay $207.13. PCGS (May/June 2021) gives their value at $306 (!).
I am nearing retirement and my daughter has no interest in coin collecting. When I am gone, my wife will probably wind up giving all of this away since she has no knowledge of how to go about disposing of it.
My only other recourse is to take these to the local coin shop where I have been informed that I would be given $2.10 (as melt value) for each coin. For 43 coins, that comes to $90.30 and it would certainly be the easiest for me. But I would prefer to find good homes for these coins. Thus, you could buy these for only $145.00 (shipping included), at less than half their value (according to PCGS), and save these coins from the melt bucket.
To ensure delivery, these coins will be sent via Certified Mail.
If paying by check or money order, these will be shipped once funds have cleared.
Thanks for looking.
