Up for sale is an 8 pound box of pre-1982 copper pennies - that's right, no 1982's EVER! What you see in the picture is just a mere indication of what is in the box, which is a USPS small flat rate package. We have gotten more in recently, so if you are looking to buy more than 8 pounds, don't hesitate to contact me so I can make you a deal. If a post-1982 coin is in the mix, let me know as I strive to filter these out.
These have been searched for wheats, but not for any Memorial cent errors. Minor DDO or DDR coins may be present, along with other small errors.
You have to pay the $28 only if you cannot pick the item up. If you live close enough to pay on pickup, the coins will be knocked down to $18 - that is $28 minus the bulk of the current USPS small flat rate box shipping fees! Don't pay more when you can buy the same thing for less.
Melt value is $34.88 as of 4/2/25.
If you are interested, I accept checks and money orders as payment for this item; shipping is free in the continental US but may be subject to charges worldwide.
Thank you for shopping at Double E Coins!

If you are buying multiple items and end up with more than 1 invoice, it's best to send combined payment for the 2, to save you some postage fees. 73 cents for a stamp doesn't sound like that much extra, but stamps quickly add up these days. For multiple invoices from the same buyer, I will generally send a message for the total of all of them.
