8 Tail Feathers is an ornothologic impossibility, since bald eagles have 7 tail feathers. This error was corrected after only 749,500 were minted on the reverse. We grade this coin to be Very Fine 25. This is a 145 year old coin. Check the photos and make your own grading determination, we use PCGS Photograde Charts.
