This is a 1942-D Over Horizontal D Jefferson Nickel in at least VF grading from my years of collecting. The D is slightly doubled making this the rare variety. It is not certified but it would be worth doing so once one purchases it. A rarity, it is desirable for a collection. These pictures do not do justice as to how nice this nickel is!
