Up for Auction are 22 Ancient Roman coins selling as a single lot.
With this purchase, I will include a commercial list of liquids to use when restoring ancient coins. I will also include my own tips for when harsher methods need to be used to restore ancient coins.

The new Ancient coins buyer should understand why MANY ANCIENT COINS ARE NOT ATTRACTIVE! Primarily, it was because the engraver's artistic ability wasn't adequate to create a beautiful coin. Also, since they were individually hand-struck, the worker's accuracy determined the centering, depth and quality of the strike which resulted in each new coin being different from the last one. They used planchets of various sizes, shapes, thicknesses, and weights. Coins were even struck on fragments and used for trade!
