This is a coin price list published by one of the first mail order numismatists, B. Max Mehl. There is a comparison chart on the inside back cover that shows the value increase of a select group of coins which rose in value from 1937 to 1956. From that I am assuming that this is a 1956 edition of his price list. On the back cover, there is also printed "15,000 9-56 S.L. CO." Again, I assume that this was the printing quantity and date.
Little beasties have eaten the binding edge of the cover so that it is separated. And into the next page as well. Other than that, the book is intact. Variation in color in the photos is shadows. There is only slight sun fading on the binding edge.
Besides being an historical referrence book it's just fun to browse. Wouldn't you just love to buy an 1857 Proof half cent for $60. (NOT INCLUDED)
In order to save on shipping low cost Lincoln cents, I will ship up to 3 Lincolns for $1, and up to 6 for $2. I have many dates and mint marks which makes it hard to post all of them. If you send me a want list, I will reply with pictures. You can then pick and choose what you want. Then I will post that package on Coin Book for you to purchase
