Very Choice BU Roll of 1950-S San Francisco Mint Issue Lincoln Wheat Cents. Very attractive roll of mostly red with a handful of Red Brown toned coins. These are all well matched fully lustrous coins, obviously from an original roll, with excellent surface quality, no signs of corrosion or other issues.

BU Rolls of Lincoln Cents and other US coin are predominantly lower grade, not the "Gem BU" portrayed by most. Gems are rare. Not every coin or roll is "Gem BU".

We do not apply the term GEM BU to the original rolls we sell. It's incorrect to label an entire roll gem as if gem is average. Gems are rare nd to just describve a roll of 50 coins as Gem, is irresponsible and totally false. On average, one would do very well to get 5-10 gems in the average roll.
