Original roll of a tougher date 1957-D BU 90% Silver Roosevelt Dimes in Brilliant Uncirculated condition housed in a hard shell plastic vintage tube with a screw top.
The 1957-D remains a "sleeper" and mostly unknown to many as to it's difficulty to find. Greysheet has the 1957-D BU Dime roll at $145 ask, $189 bid.
We almost never apply the adjective Gem or Gem BU to raw coins understanding just how difficult it is to obtain those grades from the top two Third Party Grading Services. Overusing this term diminishes the value of coins truly deserving of this descriptor.
