Item Description
For sale is a circulated 1969 D Lincoln Memorial Philadelphia penny with an error on the reserve. It has a "floating roof" as a result of die polishing.
I have put this coin under the magnifying glass. It looks to me like the designer's initials -- FG for Frank Gasparro -- are there, although they appear to be faint.
This was a lucky find for me. The penny will be a nice addition to a collection.
