Beautiful collection of ASE's 1986-2005, descriptions below.
1986-Gold and yellow hues around the obverse rim with the darker hues being on left. Very light gold tones at bottom of reverse.
1987-No toning either side.
1988-Toning on rim from "B" clockwise to date area; dark gold/bronze with cobalt blue. No toning on reverse.
1989-Toning is very similar to the 1986, see description.
1990-Very delicate bronze toning from "B to T" along rim and head. Same toning from sun to right foot of Liberty. No reverse toning.
1991-An extremely light purple tone from about 11 to 7 o'clock, must view from angle. Reverse clear.
1992-From bottom of sun to right of date a mix of royal and navy blues topped with gold/copper hues into lower skirt. Gold/copper hues complete the outer rim area but are extremely light. Reverse has no toning.
1993-From left sunray back CCW to date is small band of royal blue toning. No reverse toning.
1994-Thin line of dark toning along top and bottom, mostly snugged against rim with small amount in sun. Very small band of dark toning top of reverse.
1995-Thin dark band toning all along rim, thin. Reverse has small area at bottom the same.
1996-Clockwise from "I to R" thin band of plum colored toning along rim; same area on reverse.
1997-Clockwis from "B to T" thin dark band also in date area. Thin dark band of toning along rim in "AMERICA" area on reverse.
1998-Delicate light purple along all the rim, darker in date area. Reverse appears clear.
1999-From about "B to T" dark toning in rim as well as flag and Liberty's head. There is spot next to last "9" in date. Reverse ok.
2000-Dark coffee band around all of rim, same is sprinkled in foot and lower skirt area. Reverse has very small bands near
"AMERICA".
2001-Toning primarily around upper area in rim and head, plum shades again. Reverse appears clear.
2002-Almost indentical to the 2001 except color is darker.
2003-Same as 2002 and yet slighter darker.
2004 & 2005- Both coins have dark toning bands around rims both obverse and reverse. The bands are not continuous and shade
will very but they are darker.
