Very Rare Original Series $1 Bank Note - The National Bank of Bellows Falls Vermont, Charter #1653
Original Series Large Size Bank Notes had no proper date and were issued between the years of 1865-1873.
The last recorded auction sale I could find for Fr. 380 Original Series Bank Note from the National Bank of Bellows Falls was a low grade, ungraded example sold via Heritage Auctions in 2006. The bottom was torn and/or burnt and was in a state of ill repair, far worse that the example offered here. At the time in 2006, Heritage stated the example sold then was 1 of only 4 known examples of this note. Heritage Auctions' pasted comments below:

A low grade piece which now becomes the worst of four Original Series aces reported from here. Good-Very Good, with a small disturbed area at the bottom.
