- Smaller Note 180 X100 mm Back: Monochrome below Eagle-

This note will be shipped in a larger envelope to avoid folding the note and thus protecting the note's integrity.
- Male Portrait at right by Albrecht Durer.
An old 1922 German bank note for 10,000 marks, sometimes known as the 'Vampire' note because when viewed sideways, it appears as if a vampire is biting the neck of the man (it is not easy to see at first): the engraving is Albrecht Durers Portrait of a Young Man but was slightly altered by the bank note engraver to show this so-called vampire apparently sucking the lifeblood out of the German economy with the reparations imposed after World War One. The 10,000 mark note was first issued in 1922 in a time of spiraling inflation.
Over 90 Years Old! Larger than average size note.
