1869 - 1969 GOLDEN SPIKE CENTENNIAL BRONZE COIN
This is a 33 mm bronze medal that was struck to commemorate the completion of the Pacific Railway in 1869. The medal has a railroad spike on the obverse of the medal while the reverse of the medal shows two locomotives meeting on the railroad tracks at Promontory Summit, Utah. These medals are almost half a century old and are getting harder to find as the years go by in an un-circulated condition.
