HK-350, U. S. Navy World Voyage, a souvenir of the visit of the "White Fleet" to San Diego, soon to be a critical Navy base on the Pacific. All of this issue was originally issued mounted on a badge with a clasp at the top; two complete badges may currently be seen (Feb. 2024) ebay, one in my own listings. Stupidly enough, even though this fact is known (or should be) by the "experts" at NGC and PCGS, neither will apparently certify one of these with the clasp removed, but will with the clasp attached, such as the NGC XF-45 copy I also have listed. PCGS let one through in the past certified at MS-63, so I thought I would take a shot as the example shown here is a no-doubt Gem Unc. No joy, as it came back in the Details holder as shown, in which it still remains (images of the piece in its raw state are shown as they show the surfaces better). Nice original Copper surfaces with few if any disturbances and a sense of being Prooflike in the fields. Other than on an original undisturbed badge, of which few remain, you are unlikely to find a nicer copy. Oh well - my loss is your opportunity. Make an Offer option added if anyone has a serious disagreement with my estimate of value.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
