HK-894J, 1924 National Guard Encampment souvenir, one of the First World War related "Good Luck" tokens added to NGC's expanded list of So Called Dollars through the efforts of John Raymond (and to a certain extent myself). VERY SCARCE TO RARE; I searched for a number of years to find any example, due to what I am sure was limited production as well as the tendency for such items to be thrown away once the original owner passed on. Choice Almost Uncirculated, very light wear detectable from brief pocket use, nothing however what I would call a problem such as heavy marks or cuts. Like ALL of the examples of this particular HK, the date was hand punched into the finished piece after it had been struck, with the original date on the die effaced. My assumption is that the producer, likely Schwaab of Milwaukee, WI, took left over 1923-dated tokens, ground down the date area and punched in the "1924". As a result, each example is going to be a little different in terms of date placement. Certainly worth consideration if you want a nice example, as almost all I have seen show marks or damage. Due to value this will require shipping with Signature Confirmation, hence the S&H shown. 0210-01

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
