Lot Of 3 1931 P D S 90% Silver Mercury Dimes 1931 VF 1931-D VF+/XF 1931-S Ch VF
This listing is for a trio of 1931 Mercury or Winged Liberty Dimes; one of each mint mark, P, D, and S.
The 1931 issues are considered etter dates and have low mintages only behind the 1916-D, the 1921 P and D
All 3 of these coins are in better state of preservation with all 3 being VF or better. All 3 of these coins have excellent surface quality with no signs of harsh cleaning or other problems to point out.
The 1931 (P) is in a nice mid VF grade range. Totally original and very pleasing eye appeal.
The 1931-D is a solid XF. Totally original surfaces with trace luster remaining, great detail on the fasces on the reverse, Liberty's cheek is rounded, and all other detail consistent with an XF grade range.
Last but not least the 1931-S is in the Choice VF grade range. This coin has a touch more detail than the 1931 P, and a touch less than the 1931-D.
All 3 coins have original surfaces and great eye appeal. This is an excellent opportunity to upgrade your current 1931 holes in your album. These are sure to be an upgrade for 90% of the albums out there!
These coins were extracted from a recently purchased album collection which included a Blue Whitman album of Mercury Dimes missing only the 1916-D. Once again, This listing is just for the three (3) 1931 issues, P, D, and S - 3 coins! The other pictures at the end are just to show the album from which this coin was pulled.
