OBW Bank Wrapped Roll 1964-D Jefferson Nickels BU Uncirculated

Original Bank Wrapped roll of 1964-D Uncirculated BU Jefferson Nickels.

This listing is for an Original Bank Wrapped Roll of 1964-D Jefferson Nickels.

One way to confirm if a bank wrapped roll from the 60s is original or not is to confirm the paper used and the stock (thickness) of the paper. It is thicker than tha made from the 1970s onward.

The writing should also be faded. Ink does not stay fresh , bright and bold 70 years later. There are numerous other tip offs that you can read up about if you don't already know.

This roll has some old scotch tape on one end but it appears that was just to protect a tear in the paper and not due to the roll having been unraveled. I believe the integrity of the roll is fully intact, but again, I will not lay claims to that for certain. I havent owned the roll for 60 years when it came into existance.

The bank name is mostly worn off this roll but the letters NY can be read and the text is consistent with the FRB of NY and I am inclined to think that may be it's provenance but I cannot gurantee this of course.

One roll shipping cost for Ground Advantage is $5.95. two rolls, going Priority Mail is $8.50. Any overage paid in shipping calculation (it's always wrong), will be immediately refunded. So if you buy 2 rolls, the shipping cost to you is $8.50. Coincidentally, if you purchase more than 2 rolls, anything else that fits in the small box will ship at no extra charge.

At SAM's, we use Stock Photos very infrequently. The coin in the photos is the exact coin you will receive.

All invoices must be pre-approved (by me) to ensure the coin you are purchasing is still available for sale. We sell on multiple sites, locally, etc. We do our bets to maintain current inventory, but sometimes one coin may sell twice within extremely close proximity of each other. We will pre-approve any/all invoices submi9tted promptly, usually in less than an hour from the time you checkout.

Pay only 1 shipping charge, (the highest) and all the rest ship at no extra charge. I will update shipping cost at the time I approve the invoice.
