Bank wrapped or Shotgun rolls of 1949 Jefferson Nickels are definitely even scarcer.
This Shotgun or OBW / Bank Wrapped roll of BU Uncirculated 1949 Jefferson Nickels resides in a Tan Steel Shell Gunshell generic or shotgun wrap.
While there is no bank stamp (visible at least), this shotgun roll checks all the other boxes as far as scarcity of date/mint mark and condition of roll - all are in the top percentile of what one can expect to hope to find in the wild.
The 1949 date is a key date for virtually all denominations when it comes to BU Rolls. The 1949 Quarter BU Roll is a $1400-1700 roll; the 1949 Dime Roll is also a $1000-1200 roll. The 1949 Lincoln Cent BU Roll is in the $150-200 price range.
