This 2000 penny is mistruck, leaving a crescent shaped unstruck portion up from the top and to the right. The effect cuts off the top part of the word "IN" in the "IN GOD WE TRUST" phrase across the top. It also leaves the word "BERTY" instead of "LIBERTY" to the left of Lincoln's shoulder and neck. The 2000 date with no mint mark is fully visible.
This was found in circulation, but much of the detail remains in Lincoln's hair, face, and coat. It has a nice shine.
