ONE OF A KIND 1850 Coronet Head Gold Coin

I,m told that a coin is considered either mint or proof when it leaves the federal mint. After that, the coin can change in rating due to handling etc.. This coin has two major mint flaws, both of which show only on the one side. Perhaps that is how it got out of the mint. It has a die crack running across most of the obverse side and what I call a burn mark at about 6:20. The only way I can think of how this would be made would be a small piece of dirt (perhaps metalic) dropped on the die during the production run. I would appreciate your opinion. If you examine the photos closely, you will see a lot of details on both sides of the coin. (Eagles feathers,the matron's hair, the stars etc.) Also notice the that the fields have no scratches or gouges. The edge of the coin looks new. This coin obviousl was not in circulation very long What would you rate it?
