I believe this is very likely an actual original roll for numerous reasons, although of course I can not guarantee anything like that

Most importantly the patina on the coins is actually original. Most of the BU steel cents you see today have been reprocessed. They're washed and stripped and come out a bright shiny silver color with a blue tint or highlight

I put side by side comparisons of this roll next to a couple of shiny silver reprocessed rolls I had but just sold . I had rolls of 1943 P, 43-D and 43-S reprocessed that I sold for about 65% of the money I'm listing these at

The paper and everything about the roll is all consistent with legit original back wrapped rolls from the era
