Scarcely seen 1946-S San Francisco Full Roll BU Roll of Jefferson Nickels.
There's a lot of beautifully toned coins in this roll with a variety of auburn, teal, gold purple and sea green/blue pastel colors. Shimmering luster and just "the look' of a truly original roll that has been undisturbed for decades.
Gorgeous! And... quite scarce!
We almost never apply the adjective Gem or Gem BU to raw coins understanding just how difficult it is to obtain those grades from the top two Third Party Grading Services. Overusing this term diminishes the value of coins truly deserving of this descriptor. It's also blatantly false to use that term so casually and lightly.
