Original Gem BU Roll 1942 Lincoln Wheat Cents 50 Unc Coins Stuck In Vintage Tube

Beautiful, all original Gem BU Roll of 1942 Lincoln Wheat Cents stuck in an old Mehringer tube.  Only the very top coin would come out with out exerting effort so I was able to capture that coin and the 2nd coin in the photos, including the reverse of the top coin and those two coins are cherry red, with great original luster and minimal cointact marks. Obviously no way to know the condition and quality of the other 48 coins but the fact they have been stuck in the Mehringer tbe for decades bodes very well for them being exceptionaly well preserved and probably have spectacular luster and toning on many.

Thick original skin on these uncirculated coins which are all red to red/brown. Lustrous and appealing to the collector who appreciates originality.

We almost never apply the adjective Gem or Gem BU to raw coins understanding just how difficult it is to obtain those grades from the top two Third Party Grading Services. Overusing this term diminishes the value of coins truly deservant of this descriptor. It's also blatnantly false to use that term so casually and lightly
