Here is an extraordinarily attractive coin for the grade. This 1884-S Half Eagle, a better date in the series, has been graded MS61 by NGC (Cert. No. 3711062-003), and definitely delivers loads of eye appeal. Sparse, short hairlines on the obverse explain the technical grade, but do not steal from the appeal of this coin, with its uniformly intense mint luster and great strike.
I don't usually "sell" people on coins, but this coin is special, and you'll know it when you see it in hand.
