Pair Of Two (2) 1936 Silver Cleveland Commemorative Half Dollars PCGS MS66 w/OGP
This listing is for two (2) 1936 Cleaveland Commemorative Half Dollars that came from their original US Mint Issued Cardboard holder.
Needless to say, finding these coins from 1936 still in their original US Mint issued packaging is extremely rare nowadays in 2024/2025. We are appraoching 90 years since they were issued. A remrakable find indeed - it is highly unlikely another opportunity such as this will arise again!
After wrestling with the decision to leave them inb the holder, or to submit them (both looked like lock 66's with a shot at 67), I caved in and sent them to PCGS back in early October. Both coins have come back recently and each was graded PCGS MS66
These Cleveland Commemorative Half Dollars have sat untouched in their original US Mint issued cardboard holder for decades. This is evident with their incredible, original "mint set packaging" type toning, gorgeous, creamy luster, and unmolested original surfaces.
The surface quality on these is smooth and virtually mark-free. These coins have sat, untouched, in their original US Mint issued holder for decades tucked away in a safe deposit box
Your bid is for the EXACT 2 PCGS graded Cleveland Commemorative coins AND the original US Mint issued packaging pictured.
