Souvenir watch fob from the period immediately after the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake and Fire. The main drop uses the design of HK-340/341, "No Clock in Tower" dies. Drop is plain edge with two top tabs, so per the standard agreed upon by most people technically not a So Called Dollar. Otherwise identical to the design most often seen on HK-341, 35.5mm in diameter; the odd 0.5mm difference from the listed diameter for HK-340/340A being the lack of reeding. The majority of construction appears to be Silver-plated Brass, typical of most period souvenir fobs, however there are a couple of spots of extremely minor wear to the drop and no Brass shows through, so it is possible that it may be low content Silver, the same as "HK-340" (there is some dispute over whether this exists in Silver). Mox Nix, this is very scarce and the first I have seen; one other sold on ebay in 2018. From my personal reference collection of San Francisco/PPIE Exonumia and So Called Dollars. Box shipped for safe delivery, hence the slightly higher S&H. 0301-18

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
