Item Description
1972 Type 2 is the most difficult of the Ikes to locate-often called the "King" of the Ikes. Has original luster for a clad coin.
The obverse fields are super clean. Look at the definition on the eagles chest feathers a high point on the coin.
"The 1972 Type 2 Eisenhower Dollar is the key coin to the entire series. The 1972 Type 2 Eisenhower Dollar was accidentally struck with a reverse die intended for proof coins only. A typical circulation strike die producing Eisenhower Dollars at the time was producing about 100,000 coins each. Therefore, more than likely less than 40,000 coins of this variety exist in all grades combined since many of them circulated and have considerable wear making them hard to identify. Also, many others coins have been lost over the years."

Plus in cases when one or more coins are ordered I use cardboard over the coins inside the padded mailer.
The entire mailer is then wrapped in thick packing tape.
I am retired and I usually process the orders within 3 hours of receiving them and they are sent out within 10-12 hours at the latest.
