Flying Eagle & Indian Cent Attribution Guide Volume 1 2nd ed., 1856-1858; by Snow 127 pages. A must for all variety collectors. Spiral bound, with rarity scale. This important volume is the most detailed work on the popular Flying Eagle series ever published. The popular 1856 Flying Eagle is covered more extensively here than anywhere else. Each known die pair is listed with detailed images. Sections on the history of the development of the Flying Eagle design as well the production and collecting of these coins is included. The 1857 multi-denominational die clashes are given a detailed section with unique composite images showing the locations of the clashes. The 1858 Pattern cents, which include the popular 1858 Indian Head cents are listed with all new information. This section is the culmination of 15 years of research by Rick Snow and contains a wealth of information not available elsewhere.
