Thomason Medallic Bible Bronze Medal #27 Moses's Brazen Serpent

Solid bronze art medal of the Thomason Medallic Bible edition, depicting "Moses' Brazen Serpent" on the obverse (medal #27). Originally hand-engraved by Fritz Weiland, these medals portray important events of Biblical times. Issued between 1967-1970, there were 60 medals based on paintings by early Masters. These medals measure 45mm in diameter and weigh approximately 1 troy oz. of solid bronze (no COA). There are some stray marks of unknown origin. This may be a reproduction.
