Offered here for the collector are two 1952-S Lincoln Cent Error Coins.

The error on these coins was the continued use of a chipped Striking Die that that became larger over time.It's not too unusual to see a Die Chip on coins from time to time, but when they get big enough to obstruct the date, it makes you think the Quality Control Manager at the Mint must have been sleeping. Both coins are in nice condition in spite of their age. If you'd like to have them for your collection, I'll send them out within one business day.
