This is my first listing on this site, but I do have a very positive feedback rating on eBay spanning more than 20 years. I was referred to this site by one of your long-term members.
My knowledge on coins is very limited, so I will be very grateful if you inform me about any errors I make on my submissions, or any suggestions on how I can improve my listings.
For this first listing I have found two genuinely nice condition half dollars, one of which has attractive toning, or is "patination" a better description? The colour has subtle changes in different light and is more pronounced on the reverse. It is a 1941 Denver Mint Half, and is the coin listed in the heading. (I could not find a way to list both coins in the heading.) Annoyingly, my photographs seem to emphasize the flaws without capturing the beauty of the coins.
The second coin is just listed so that a comparison could be made between the unchanged silver finish of this coin and the patination on the other coin. It is a 1934 Half from the San Francisco Mint. (The auction winner will receive both coins.)
Condition wise - after looking at other listings, I would suggest they are both VF and possibly AU. (Your comments on this point, in particular, will be welcomed and will help me with future posts.)
They will be mailed First Class with tracking for $4.50 and I will upgrade to Priority (slightly quicker) if you wish to pay the difference.
