Item Description
1912-S U. S. Philippines Centavo, Choice Uncirculated. Certified by PCGS as "Questionable Color". I took a shot and sent this in as I felt it was on the edge; this date comes with funky color based upon examples I have seen. Exceptionally scarce to rare as a Red coin; this certainly has the "look", which I am sure is why it was lightly dipped somewhere along the way. This coin is not as "pink" as my images make it appear - this effect was due to the lighting used to image it. In my opinion as far as a surface grade equivalent to the MS-64 I am also offering.
