VERY Choice and fully original roll of 1955 Philadelphia Lincoln Wheat Cents. 

Beautiful cherry red luster on just about every single one of these. I honestly do not see any one of them being anything other than fully red by the numismatic standard and definition where by 95% of it's original red, vibrant color is retained.

A red coin, often designated as "RD" by grading services like PCGS and NGC, retains at least 95% of its original mint red color. This indicates a high degree of original luster and color, often seen in coins that are well-preserved or have been protected from oxidation.  

All of these coins have excellent surface quality, strong luster, not many contact marks and minimal issues with carbon spotting.

BU Rolls of Lincoln Cents and other US coin are predominantly lower grade, not the "Gem BU" portrayed by most. Gems are rare. Not every coin or roll is "Gem BU".

We do not apply the term GEM BU to the original rolls we sell, and to the vast majority of raw coins we sell. It's incorrect to label an entire roll gem as if gem is the norm or commonplace. Gems are rare. To describe an entire roll of 50 coins as "Gem", is irresponsible and totally false. On average, one would do very well to get 10-20% Gem level coins in the average roll.
