My husband got this 1000-Mark bank note in West Germany in 1957. It was "worthless" at the time. The Bundesrepublik Deutschland would not accept it at the time, nor would the DeutcheDemokratische Republik. It is in good condition but worn. It may be a worthwhile addition to your collection.
