1925 Standing Liberty Quarter

The 1925 Standing Liberty Quarter introduced a depression within the pedestal on which the liberty stands and where the date is located. The reason for this was to help reduce the wear and tear on the date which became a problem in previous years when the date was often worn off the coin.
