One major variety includes the 1802/0 Draped Bust Half Cent (Penny) which features the reverse design of 1802. First of all: This is an overdate error with an 1802 date struck over an 1800 date which resulted in the underlying "0" being seen completely around the number "2". This coin also features the newer design on the reverse of the coin. The best way to identify this variety is to note the larger letters and that there is a double leaf on the top of the right-side branch whereas the 1800 reverse only has one single leaf.
