What this coin looks like (obverse, reverse, mint mark location, special features, etc.):
One major variety of the 1801 Draped Bust Large Cent (Penny) features a fractional overdate on the reverse of the coin. The fraction on the bottom should read "1/100" to denote 1 cent but originally it was struck as "1/000" by mistake. Once the die was corrected - then the correct 1/100 was struck over it. This resulted in 100/000 or a "1" over the first "0" as depicted by the example image above.
