About Me:

Smith’s Coins, located in Eastway Plaza at the corner of Sagamore Parkway North and Greenbush in Lafayette, Indiana, is owned and operated by John Smith with help from his daughter Michelle (Chell) Davis. John has been a coin dealer since the 1980's. He is a life member of the Indiana State Numismatic Association and the Central States Numismatic Society.

We carry a wide range of U.S. and foreign coins and currency, Gold and Silver from many countries, U.S. proof sets, U.S. mint sets. Smith's Coins has a full range of coin and currency supplies and publications for your collecting and numismatic investment needs. Our goal is to serve your collecting needs.

Appraisals are another area that we offer a full range of services in. We can help you value your collection either for eventual resale or for insurance coverage. 

 

We buy coins, currency, bullion, and scrap sterling silver based on current market values.

 

Our shipping policy: Items will be shipped after cleared payment is received; typically within 24-48 hours after cleared payment, unless it is a weekend or holiday. We only ship to the 50 United States, its Territories and Possessions. Payments MUST BE from US based accounts. ***Free shipping includes tracking and insurance (if needed).*** We are CLOSED on Sundays and Mondays.
